Client – Murtoa Marma Race Club
Oregional were engaged to market and event manage 2016 & 2017 Murtoa Cup. Success in a regional attractions grant application allowed us to introduce race day initiative, The Great Pulse Race.
This race allowed the club to highlight and celebrate the region’s farming, as well as inject cash prizes / donations back to community clubs. Held as part of the 2017 event, “The Great Pulse Race” was a huge success with eight community teams competing in relay heats across the afternoon to take out cash prizes.
Results
Oregional developed and engaged with regional businesses and sponsors to promote the region and race day as well as establish relationships for the committee to continue. The publicly generated from the campaign and event initiative resulted in an attendance increase of 24.7%.
